About
An editorial team focused on eggs #
How Cook Eggs is the editorial name used for this site’s recipes and cooking guides. We publish in English, French, German and Spanish to make egg preparation easier to follow: quantities, equipment, cooking stages and serving ideas belong together on the page.
The team maintains the articles, translations and links between recipes. The byline identifies editorial responsibility; it does not claim a professional chef qualification or that every recipe has been tested in our kitchen. You can browse the recipes and guides or inspect the public project.
How to read our times #
The historical quail-egg recipes show editorial estimates for each step. Their total adds the steps in sequence, including cooling and serving. These estimates are not stopwatch measurements or verified user feedback. Egg size, starting temperature, the pan, the hob and the quantity can change the result. Use the visible texture and the method described alongside the timer. The quail-egg cooking method shows this breakdown.
Sources, photographs and illustrations #
Guides link to their sources, and adapted recipes name their attribution and licence where documented. Photographs have credits in the articles; some historical files still lack evidence of their original acquisition and licence. We do not present them as photographs taken by our team. Generated illustrations explain a dish or a cooking stage and do not document a real kitchen test. The provenance register records the remaining uncertainties.
Corrections and transparency #
An article’s update date marks an editorial revision, not a new cooking experiment. To report an error, use the project’s issue tracker and give the article URL, quantities and equipment involved. Links labelled as affiliate links may generate a commission. Feedback only supports a factual claim once it has been recorded and checked.
